Privacy notice
This notice explains how Parmar Gas and Developments (PGAD) uses personal data when you visit pgad.co.uk, contact us or request a quote. Last updated: 13 September 2026.
Who is responsible?
The data controller is Parmar Gas and Developments (PGAD), Ashford Close, Birmingham B24 0JD. For privacy questions or requests, email bparmar@pgad.co.uk or write to the postal address above.
Information we collect
If you send an enquiry, we collect your name, phone number, email address (where supplied), required service, property type, town or location, and any message you choose to provide. We also receive standard technical information about requests, needed to operate and secure the website. We do not ask for special-category data and ask you not to include it in an enquiry.
Why we use it
- To respond to your question, arrange a survey and prepare a quote.
- To deliver requested installation, servicing, repair or other work.
- To keep an accurate record of enquiries and communicate about the requested work.
- To protect the service from duplicate or abusive submissions.
- To understand website performance only when you choose optional analytics in the cookie settings.
We process enquiries to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on the basis of PGAD's legitimate interests in responding to and managing service enquiries. Optional analytics is based on your consent. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing or sell personal data.
Sharing and storage
Enquiry details are stored in the PGAD enquiry system and sent to PGAD's nominated business email provider so the team can respond. We may share necessary details with contractors or suppliers involved in fulfilling the requested work. Google Analytics is loaded only after optional consent and is used for aggregated website measurement. We do not sell or rent data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records only for as long as needed to respond, provide the requested service, handle accounting or resolve a dispute. As a working rule, enquiry records are reviewed for deletion after 24 months from the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Optional analytics storage can be removed through the controls below.
Your rights
Subject to legal limits, you can ask for a copy of your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and portability where applicable. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time. Email bparmar@pgad.co.uk with enough information for us to identify the enquiry. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses essential browser storage to remember your analytics choice. Google Analytics is optional and is not loaded until you select “Accept analytics”. If you reject it, PGAD does not send website event data to Google or store optional analytics attribution. The site does not use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising.
