What was involved
- Site survey and system sizing — room dimensions and occupancy load assessed to select the correct capacity unit
- Supply and installation of a single R32 wall-mounted indoor unit at high level for optimal air distribution
- Supply and installation of the outdoor condenser unit on an external wall bracket
- Copper pipework routed and concealed between indoor and outdoor units for a clean, professional finish
- Electrical connection wired to a dedicated circuit — clean, safe, and compliant installation
- F-Gas compliance certificate issued on completion
- Full system test, demonstration, and handover — unit operational on the day
The result
A single-split installation is the most straightforward way to cool or heat one room — one indoor unit, one outdoor condenser, one dedicated circuit. This office had no air conditioning previously and was uncomfortably hot in summer, making working conditions difficult during warmer months.
After surveying the room, we specified the correct capacity unit for the space — not oversized, not undersized. The installation was completed within half a day, with all pipework routed and concealed neatly along the wall and through to the outdoor unit.
The unit heats as well as cools — so it provides year-round climate control from a single installation, replacing the need for portable heaters in winter. R32 split systems are typically 3–4× cheaper to run than electric panel heaters.
